New Style Boutique is getting a sequel

New Style Boutique 2

The 20th of November will be a good day for me. That’s the day that the sequel to New Style Boutique on the 3DS hits stores.

If you know me, or have read through my previous posts here on the blog, you’ll know I absolutely LOVE the Style Boutique series.  There’s just something about the buying and selling aspects (and the fashion contests) that really does it for me.  I’ve waxed lyrical before about these games, and I no doubt will again.

According to this article on Nintendo Life, New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward will include amiibo support for a handful of amiibos (Mario, Peach, Yoshi and Kirby, which forces me to need to get those that I don’t have!). Scanning one of those amiibos will unlock a themed costume for your catalogue, which will boast over 19000 items.  Japan even got some Splatoon-themed items, so hopefully those will be available to the EU/AU market too.

No official word yet as to whether it will be out in Australia, but I reckon it will – and if not, I’ll be importing it quick smart!

I wonder if the tag line “Fashion Forward” will mean there will be some really crazy fashions – I want to see even wilder stuff!

  1. I was actually thinking about picking this one up again! I think I just love the way it fills the clothing shopping rush without spending any money. I am putting $10 credit into my eShop each pay between now and release, then will buy the e-version so it’s always at my fingertips

  2. I love having the physical copy of games, but I do like the idea of having this with me always, given there will be a few other games in the mix around that time!
